Promo: Super(not)loops and the new Superloops

 

A discussion came about and I decided I'd edit the map.

More dawnting than it appeared.

Fictional: Bromley North with Superloop

and also fusing 354 with 138 so I reuse the very light blue color of SL5. Which has the byproduct of making two stand spaces at Bromley North.

 

It's been a while since I edited maps for fun, even if it's probably my 420th so far, still a passion of mine.

Fictional: A daily X68/SL6 that stops at Brixton and Elephant & Castle

A thought arisen from reading a suggestion on the bus forum.

 

Having X68 (SL6 from 31 July) stop at Brixton and Elephant & Castle. Perhaps also Kennington but I'd call into question 415's existence so for that purpose, I omitted that.

Besides, I have an idea to make extra use of 415's deckers by changing up my nemesis 322:

Every express route in London; past and present

At least ones which I can find, be it timetables and maps. I've tried my best in the months I've taken to form posts around it, draw multiple maps of which are mostly in my posts, draw out new ideas, and finishing it off with history.

Oh and the spreadsheet which won't make much sense without exposition through the posts.

Safe to say I'll take a break from maps after this.

 

Disclaimer: The word 'every' was used but it's a vast misrepresentation if we include the likes of National Express A-routes and whatnot, but that questions the line of bus and coach which I've no doubt blurred as I drew the map out.

Fictional: ˣ59: Central London to Central Croydon, express

An every 8 minute service would require a PVR of 19 roughly, which can easily be sourced from trimming only the peak frequencies of 133, 159 and 250, and reducing it a notch for 59 and 109.

 

Speed at the cost of frequency for stops not served.

 

I like drawing out stuff so decided to copy the old style of maps for individual routes.

Fictional: X43 and X53 in Superloop (if not withdrawn)

Superloop with old X43 and old X53, withdrawn in 1998 and about 1999 (in time for Jubilee Line extension opening) respectively. 

X43 was replaced by enhancements to 43's frequency. 

X53 was replaced by the Jubilee Line which goes Thamesmead. 

Wait a minute. 

Yeah the Thamesmead people got screwed over big time. If they still existed they'd be numbered chronologically in the loop, now that it the numbers are confirmed.
