Fictional: A different Edmonton Green, a cooler reality?

If you've been existing for over a decade and have been in the forum space for a while you would have seen the idea of a 192/W8 swap floating around in order to curb 192's crowds whilst the W8 is there with double deckers carrying less of a load on the "Lee Valley Leisure Complex" stretch, meanwhile 8.9m single decks get packed to sardines on a regular.

Calculations wise for PVRs, 192 (PVR 15) and W8 (PVR 16) would change into 192 (PVR 10) and W8 (PVR 20). Law of equivalent exchange.

As for why I've decided now to draw this up. 1) I was bored and wanted to edit something. 2) Saw an idea of extending W8 resurface but even further to Walthamstow, not my cup of tea so can't say this or that about it. 3) I had an epiphany, that previous single deck routes that had double decks replace them:

- 255's Streatham Hill - Stockwell replaced by 50's reclaim to fame in 2008

- London's worst reliable route 322's Brixton-Elephant section taken by 196 in 2005

- Crowded 469 between Bexleyheath and Erith taken over by 99 in 2009... even though 469 was double deck at every 20 beforehand so err

All those routes had the same frequencies; which was every 12 (or every 15 in poor 469's case) and of course for the most part timed perfectly for contract changes (196 was mid-contract however), granted 322's frequency was reduced after it was rerouted but is now back at the same frequency after a decade. Should a 192/W8 swap realistically happen in the same fashion, you could argue W8's frequency is a little extra. You could equally argue such a frequency would attract more than it can chew with IKEA goers and Edmonton Green-Tottenham Hale travellers having a much upgraded service and Enfield-Tottenham a faster service.
